so things have been a little stressfull at work lately, just because one of our girls is away on vacation, so basically I am 2 people. long and short I dont have a lot of time to blog...but I HAVE to talk about my night the other night!
so I get a call at 2 in the morning. my cousin Natalie has crashed her car...and my other cousin andrew went to pick her up, only to kill his car battery...so they needed a boost from me. one car dead...2 to go.
once we get here, we cant boost Andrew's car...something is shot in the battery or something...2 car's down.
so everyone hop's in with me. by now its 3AM and im exhausted! I look down and realize that im almost out of gas..."SHOOT" so we stopped, picked up some chips and I got some gas then we hit the highway...about 5 minutes later...my car totally BREAKS DOWN.
of course, I have no idea why. so, bieng the amazing daughter I am, I call my dad at 3:30 in the morning
"dad...im SO sorry...but my car just died on the highway"
"what?"
"i mean, it was just driving fine! I went in to pick up the cousins, everything has been great, I even just filled it with gas"
"Rachel...you filled it with WHAT?"
NOW this is the part where I tell everyone that I drive a diesel truck. and OH YES....I filled it with gasoline instead of diesel. oh yes. I did.
.I.AM.AN.IDIOT.
so my dad comes out to get us, I get into a hefty fight with AMA (dont ask...but it involves me going something like this...SO LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT LADY, your going to leave me stranded on the highway at 4 in the morning, in the rain with 4 people in my car...because I am not my dad? (thats right miss, i have to talk to your father because its his membership) he's going to be here in 5 mintues! I have to work in 3 hours, if I had a voice like a man you wouldnt even question that i was my father! so send the stupid tow truck and he will call you in 5 minutes!) and then they gave my dad attitude when he talked to them because I was bieng "sassy" and ended up CHARGING him for the tow. it was a .LONG.NIGHT. and when it all ended I was back in bed...
3 car's down...in a matter of hours....sweet work eh? the Craig's are on a roll!

thats all for me for now...I have to get my butt to work...speaking of butts, i have been working mine off! monday i did a 10K and then yesterday I biked (because its easier on my knee's) 40km! IT JUST ABOUT KILLED ME! haha today I have a 13K with my dad and then, FINALLY a rest day tomorrow. :)
and okay, okay, just because I dont like having a post without a picture...im going to put up one of my favorite "fat kid" pictures. hahaha!

And that totally bites about the car issues, but worse, the AMA chick can sit on her car keys and rotate, if you ask my opinion! ;P I feel your pain on that one, Rache!
