
I HATE PHYSIO.
I also hate that I'm a little bit of a tool and went off and injured myself. the way that my physiotherapist explained it is that I actually got injured some months ago (I took a spill during a winter run in February) and as my muscles built up, i got a "muscle imbalance" interesting? I didn't think so either. all i know is that I can't do much of anything lately when it comes to running. we ran our 29K last Saturday and by the 22-23 mark I was uncontrollably crying as I ran (how weird would THAT be to see while your running!) since then its only gotten worse, I tried a 10k on Monday and only made it about 7 before the stupid waterworks again! i feel so weak! but its been a cool experience to work through all this...even tho I'm gaining weight because I'm not running as often! ahhhh!
so physio is hard. she pokes me in sore places and sticks acupuncture in my lower back and my Butt! its all for the cause, but as Rebbecca references me as now...i sort of have a "Terry Fox" style of running. I WOULD RATHER NOT KEEP IT THAT WAY!
next appointment Friday!

Awww Lady, I didn't know. I hope you feel better though. That sounds brutal.
