.CATCH.UP.TIME. - .stop.time.stop!.

.WOW. - that was an -awesomely-weird-cool-fun-hot- weekend.
this blog was really tedious to write hahaha...I had to try and remember alot...so its a little boring this one...haha...sorry! but yo...if you want to know about my crazy beautifull life---.DEAL. lets start with the weekend...

um lets see...Friday I layed low for a bit. work then home. Mr. C come into town and wanted to hang out ...then wait...changed his mind? hmmm...I was a little upset that once again, I got my hopes up and got shut down. big surprise? not really... but meh, I spent the night with Beck and her friends at a B.B.Q. it was stellar, lots of children and fun. then Beck and Deb and I spent a little...ummm quality time together? girls power time if you will? ha ha I love those girls. all I have to say is .JUST.DANCE. shout out to DEBBIE! my all time-dance partner! and BEX...who loves candy apples...HA HA
Saturday we did the food bank!

(yes...I took a picture of the missionaries butt's....unintentional...I thought it was pretty artistic! in front of all the food bags ha ha) ahem*

It was a fantastic experience. on Monday we dropped off bags so that people could have them all full and ready by Saturday morning when we drove all over and ran house to house to fill the truck we were in with food for the Calgary food drive. Guinness world records judges came..and we set a new record for food collected (in pounds I think)!!! good job team! this is an article on the fact that we set a record! and there is a little picture of my dad on it! they interviewed him for the piece cool!

Nat Clark has been working like a .MAD.DOG. lately. I'm seriously proud of her, we hung out on Saturday night and had a really fun time. I like chilling with Nat, shes really neutral, and supports me in my crazy endeavors. today tho...she had a bit of a crazy experience...hahaha you might have to check out her blog for more (when she finds time to post it!) but she curled her hair to go out on Saturday...and today, when she grabbed her iron to put it away....it was still on! and she burnt her .WHOLE.HAND. she now has a little wrap on her hand that makes her look oddly like MJ from the wrist down....oh! poor Nat. I feel bad...shes on a good row of luck right now...boooo!

Saturday night was Amanda's baptism!

It was really inspiring to see such a strong girl join out Church. for a while, she was the one who was getting me out to activities...she has this personality that is .UNBELIEVABLE. and she was SO ready. that's not easy to find. she got baptised right before Elder Mansfield got transferred. he was so happy to see her get baptised. and we were all too! congrats AMANDA!

Sunday we had A missionary thing at my parents house. Mr C. came...but I was over what happened on Friday...we actually had a really good time. we laughed and joked and it was like old times...I wont get too into what we talked about...but haha the fact that he read my blog about my infamous first date-kiss....didn't aid our situation...ha ha. but im doing what he wants me to do...right? right? man...I cant wait to get out of here. haha its been nice to be dating and having fun. I have met some really fabulous people... and like, im so far from getting attached to anyone right now. so its all good, I just chill with people who are in my same opinions. my Rock-climbing friend, Joe is one of my favorite people right now...hes SO neutral. I talk to him about my trip, and decisions, and just...talk...hes as bored waiting to leave (hes going to nelson for the winter, then, who knows??) as I am. so we don't get attached...we just...spend time together. its perfect. why ruin a good thing right? boys are so .LAME. but here is a picture of Joe rock climbing...haha I hope he doesn't mind me plagiarizing it from his face book! he's really good, one day I'll be able to do this...I hope?

so get this. .IM.INJURED.AGAIN. - don't tell my dad. I'll work it out! gah! for some reason, I hurt my ankle...just a little a couple weeks back, not a big deal...its didn't bother me too bad...

then MONDAY night I ran a 10k on it...on a treadmill (bad idea #1) and I did it REALLY fast (bad idea #2) because I was late for something. then I woke up this morning..and my ankle is like...twice the size...you cant even see my ankle bone...CURSES!. we even bought our plane tickets today...IT.WILL.BE.BETTER.BEFORE.I.LEAVE.

that means....GAH! Back to physio tomorrow morning at 7:15 am to be poked and prodded at again!

I LEAVE ONE MONTH FROM YESTERDAY FOR DUBLIN IRELAND!...wow....im terrified.

I also made another big decision this weekend. I'm not going to tour Europe. I'm just going to get back from Dublin, and like, 2 days later, hop a plane to Peru...where i can hopefully spend the next anywhere from 2 to 4 months! I get a little freaked the more I look into it, but I'm going...I'm ACTUALLY going!

OKAY THIS ONE WAS LONG.

I had to playa little catch-up....sorry all!

xx

the food drive pics are awesome. my husband was involved with that and we were out until 9pm collecting bags, but such a cool experience to have been part of it.
hope you feel better...

Okay girlfriend, you have GOT to stop RUNNING and take up BIKING!! Seriously, I have been there, I have the wrost knees and was always getting hurt and always at the doctor and biking has completely been heaven sent for me. I LOVE it so much, I never even run at all anymore. My body is loving me for it, I don't feel like an old person anymore. So after this marathon, you have got to take up something or else or you're doomed for the rest of your life! And #2, I hate you for going to Peru/Ecuador for 2-4 months. You are the worst. Please, take me with you.
