IMPOSSIBLE.IS.NOTHING. - .DUBLIN.

OKAY! .WE.HAVE.ARRIVED!.

oh ya, and
I.HATE.PLANES.

If I didnt love the fact that they take me to fabulous places..I would never want to get on one...again. ha ha sorry, im a little Jaded from getting on a plane at 11:am in Calgary, landing in Frankfurt germany at some unhealthy hour, playing at that aiport with some little african girl and a button for four hours...and somehow landing in Dubllin at 11:am the next day... wierd. I ate a healthy Diet of buns, diet coke and chocolate on the plane while trying to keep myself awake for 30 hours or so...then FINALLY, Beck and I landed in Dublin and thought everything was okay...

untill we stepped off the plane and out into a place we didnt know at all....The great Dublin city. we hopped on a big yellow double decker city bus with all of our luggage and told the driver where we were TRYING to go, then sat and stared at a map...where on EARTH were we? after some wandering we ended up at our apartment. its beautifull! fully furnished and just lovely. we went out to shop around a little bit, get our bearings, Dublin is gorgeous! cobble streets and old buildings and Churches. I will have to get pictures up in a couple of days because our international plug doesnt fit my stupid compter cord, so im using Jareds. oh yeah, Jared flew into Dublin about 3 that afternoon we got in and we luckily found him just in time, he got just about as lost as we did! then we all went into our apartment so we could get our bearings....then went to EXPLORE!

temple bar, Grafton street, it was all beautifull, we took lots of fun pictures because it was a VERY nice day out. the sun was shining, there was a tiny breeze, but everything was green and beautifull...we went home and climbed into bed exhausted from our travells at about 8pm. it all felt like a dream when I was jolted awake at about noon the next day....I though...did I REALLY sleep for like...15 hours?? not really, I was a bit in and out...but still...I guess waking up at 2am Canada time can feel a little odd at first...

I might let Becka tell everyone about this, but just so everyone knows, she rolled her ankle pretty bad this morning...and might not make it to the marathon...ouch eh? it was, and still is, pretty dramatic...she has it iced and elivated, and were all praying that somehow it will be okay. but you know what? even if Becka cant run, shes here, and the satisfaction of even knowing I made it here is pretty sweet... maybe not quite good enough...but pretty sweet nonetheless.

so this is just a check in so everyone knows im here! its about 8pm Dublin time...and about noon Canada time...im going to bed soon so I can keep trying to adjust...Im missing Natty right now! ive been thinking a lot about how...I.LEAVE.FOR.S.A.3.WEEKS.FROM......TODAY.! and like, wow...im fraeking OUT!
im trying to stay focused on right now is that im running a marathon, very soon. its here....I started training for this in January when I got engaged, and it has been my main goal for the last YEAR. its here. training has seen me thru fights, break-up's, laughing, crying injuries, and recoveries... and im going to love every second that im sweating and hurting.... the saying for the marathon that addidas uses is this simple phrase:

.IMPOSSIBLE.IS.NOTHING.

take that.

xx
